Casey Hassenstein

Associate Head of School for Institutional Advancement

For nearly 15 years, Casey has worked in the field of development at Noble and Greenough School (Nobles) and Dexter Southfield School. Most recently, she served as the campaign director and a senior major gifts officer at Nobles, and she previously ran its annual giving efforts. Before Nobles, she worked for more than a decade in the corporate world in a variety of strategic marketing, sales, and business development roles. Her positions included director of marketing for CB Richard Ellis in Washington, D.C., and director of international marketing for Engel & Voelkers, a luxury real estate company, in Hamburg, Germany.

In addition, Casey was a marketing consultant for the Coca-Cola Company and was involved in fundraising on the 2000 Bill Bradley for President campaign. Immediately after college, she worked in New York City and San Francisco as an analyst for Goldman Sachs & Co.

Casey earned a B.A. in politics from Princeton University, where she was a member of the 1994 NCAA Women’s Lacrosse National Championship team and was also named to the All-Ivy and USWLA Academic All-American women’s lacrosse teams. She has an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Today, Casey is an avid marathon runner, having completed more than 10 marathons, most recently the Milan Marathon in April 2026. She coaches youth basketball, is an alumni interviewer for Princeton University, and is a member of the Friends Alumni Network Advisory Board at Sidwell Friends School, her alma mater. A certified life coach, Casey also works with student-athletes and girls who are experiencing obstacles and/or times of transition to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to go.



Casey lives in Chestnut Hill, Mass., with her two children and her golden retriever, Cooper.
