Celine Ferro joined the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø music faculty in 2026. She is a clarinetist and bass clarinetist based in Boston, Massachusetts whose work spans chamber music, orchestral performance, contemporary music, and creative collaboration. She is a member of the Juventas New Music Ensemble, the Kalliope Reed Quintet, Improbable Beasts (the all-bass clarinet ensemble), the groove ensemble Shibui, and performs regularly with professional ensembles and orchestras throughout New England. A passionate advocate for new music, Ferro frequently collaborates with living composers and has programmed works that expand the possibilities of the clarinet and reed repertoire.
In addition to performing, Ferro is a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages. In addition to the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, she has private clarinet studios at Powers Music School, Winchester Community Music School, and Roger Williams University where she is passionate about building confident and creative musicians. When she’s not performing or teaching, she enjoys hiking, reading, and drinking good coffee.
